Custom Costumes for the Price of Store-Bought (Northern Colorado)
And it's never to early to think about Halloween!
But what will a costume cost you at one of those stores?
The main garment (usually an ill-fitting one-piece made of cheap fabric) - $80
Underclothes (a tutu to make the main costume actually look like it does on the package) - $25
Shoes - $60
Headwear - $20
We are already at nearly $200, not counting any props, hosiery, etc!
For starting at the same price (or less, depending on the design), you could have a costume that actually fits, making you look good, and is not a copy of the same 12 costumes everybody else is wearing.
Even if you don't need a full costume, just a few props to help go with what you've already got, we can do that to.
Trust us, we have been sewing and cosplaying (costume play, see SciFi's "Heroes of Cosplay") together for years. We will work closely with you to design, fit, and implement a costume for you, working with your price range.
However, before you contact us, there are some things you need to keep in mind:
We need time to make your costume, at least two weeks *after* the price and design have been decided upon. Rush orders will greatly increase costs.
The larger and more complicated the costume (such as armor pieces, intricate embroidery, and floor-length ballgown princess dresses) the higher the price to cover costs and labor.
We do not do shoes, rather we do spats- shoe coverings- when the costume calls for it.
We do ask that at the end of consultation, before we being working on the costume that we receive a deposit.
So, what are you waiting for? Unleash the beast! or princess, or soldier, or ninja, or fairy, or hero, and contact us today!
