Hiring ALL Language Interpreters across Colorado (COLORADO)

compensation: DOE

part-time

We are recruiting Professional Interpreters in ALL LANGUAGES across Colorado. Interpretation will be mainly onsite in educational & medical facilities for limited English proficient individuals requiring language assistance while communicating with school officials, parents, and medical staff. Online data entry of client schedules and communication with office staff regarding client updates are additional responsibilities.

The minimum requirements for this position
Accuracy in conveying information between a client and a care provider or school officials
One year of verifiable experience as an interpreter in a professional setting
Adherence to the code of ethics for professional interpreters, especially regarding confidentiality
The ability to accurately verbalize anatomy, injuries, symptoms, treatments, etc.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
High School diploma or GED required
Availability Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm--60% of this time frame, consistently Reliable vehicle and access to it during hours of availability
Personal cell phone
Home internet access and computer literacy for use of custom online software
Professional appearance and business attire

The preferred requirements for this position are:
Completion of a medical terminology course or work experience in a medical setting

Candidates will be required to pass a medical interpreter assessment, a background check and to complete an interactive training course upon acceptance.

We are the only linguist company to employ our interpreters and translators instead of using independent contractors.

As employees, our interpreters receive professional training and mentorship, and they benefit from our quality assurance programs which reward development and accumulative skills.

Interpreters are paid a very competitive hourly rate based on experience and fluency. Travel time at a travel pay rate and mileage are also compensated.

Employees are paid every two weeks and are covered by errors & omissions insurance, general liability insurance and worker's compensation.

Medical, vision, dental, and Aflac benefits are available for employees
working 25 hours or more per week.
