For sale is a "The Carver Receiver", model 6250. This is the last and the greatest from "The Carver Receiver" series. It has all of the Carver innovations such as Magnetic Field Amplifier, Asymmetrical Charge Coupled FM detector, multi-path/noise cancellation, Sonic Hologram (it does make a significant enhancement in stereo imaging) and all. It also has a great FM and AM tuner. The output power is 180 watts per channel at clipping.
This is an "international" model with internally convertible 120V/240V power supply, US/International AM 9KHz/10KHz tuning steps, and 50uS/75uS FM de-emphasizing selections (has instruction sheet for conversion inside the top over). It is currently set up for US operation. Everything works and it sounds great. The Luxman tuner in the photo is listed seperately. Asking $275 only.
