Some friends and I would like to learn how to sew, make soap, make candles, bake bread and other delights from scratch, knit/crochet, canning fruits & vegetables, gardening, make cheese/churn butter, quilt, or any other home-making and/or homesteading skills.

We are group of a few (mostly Christian) women who enjoy the daily challenges & rewards of being homemakers but also are looking to learn together how to do things the way our grandmothers did it… with good old fashioned hard work (lol).

That and it gives a chance to fellowship with other women and let the kids mess up someone else’s house for a change (lol)… just kidding. But the kids are welcomed to come too.

This is not a class but just a few determined women with the goal of learning something new and drawing on our combined experiences in various areas and willingness to try something new.

We also have started a yahoo group too at: Loveland_Homemakers-subscribe@yahoogroups.com where you can post and view recipes, project instructions, share how-to or where-to-buy websites, pictures of completed projects, and much more.

BTW... If you know anyone who knows how to do any of this stuff who might like to teach it in exchange for a modest fee please contact us.
