I also have 2 indoor/outdoor dogs that LOVE all the attention that they get from the kids. They are always current and UTD on all shots (as required by the state).

I am a single mother of two amazing children (an eight year old son and nine year old daughter). Recently I was due to be married and therefore quit working to be a stay-at-home-mom so I could home-school my daughter. My daughter had a rough year last year due to the fact that she is very moral and refuses to walk to the beat of anyone else�s drum. We moved to the area last August and she did not make the transition to her new school well. That coupled with the fact that the school they attend is about two years behind the school they previously attended brought me to the decision to home-school through COVA. My son wished to remain in public school (even though I begged him to come home...I told him that it was his decision). He has too many friends and did not want to leave them. I vowed to my daughter that she would be homeschooled this year and I intend on making that happen. They are my life.

I was due to be married on August 9, but unfortunately my fianc� decided that a ready-made family was too much for him on July 12. I now find myself in a position that I must find a way to make an income while staying home with my daughter. I feel the best way to do this is to find a child or two to watch during the day.

I have been babysitting for the past 22 years. I am in the process of becoming CPR/First Aid Certified (which I will have within the month). I was attending school for teaching because I enjoy watching children grow and learn and knowing that I can do something to help that. I was a substitute teacher for one year in Texas before I had my children. I am extremely reliable. I don't smoke, drink, do drugs of any kind, or cuss. I am very flexible in the hours that I am available and can even do before or after school or overnights.

I have a remarkable potty-training method that I came up with. If you need help with that...I would be more than happy to help. My children were fully potty-trained at 16 months (daughter) and 20 months (son). I also potty-trained a three year old that I was keeping within one week where his mother had been previously unsuccessful. I don't know if it is fool-proof, but I am willing to help any way possible.

Your child(ren) will be cared for in the same manner as I have raised my own to this point...with a lot of caring and patience, but will take care of the child(ren) EXACTLY as the parent wishes. I feel that the more consistency between home and child care the better. I am also a strong believer in filling the day with fun and learning.

I loved the center my so was in but the price was just insane! It broke my heart to think of pulling him out and placing him elsewhere. I decided to do something else about my situation. http://www.freewebs.com/moneyformommies has helped me out TREMENDOUSLY!

I actually make enough to pay for most of my son's daycare expenses! It's easy and super fun! There is a forum to chat with people if you have any questions and everyone is so nice and friendly. All you have to do is join, fill out surveys and offers, and get paid each month (usually around the 20th of each month).

If you don't believe me, don't try it. I was hesitant at first, too, but I'm so glad I joined. I spend about 30-60 minutes each evening or every other evening on the site. The site keeps track of what you earn and how you've earned it. It's so easy to do!

I am a senior at CSU majoring in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in health. I absolutely love kids and have had a bit of experience with them in the past. I am looking for part-time care for my son. I need probably two days a week most weeks - maybe three occasionally. He is 16 months old and he has Down Syndrome. He is not really any harder to care for than any other child, but he is behind in every way, so it's probably like taking care of a slightly younger infant. He still takes a bottle, which you will have to hold and he eats jarred baby food, as he has no teeth yet. He has just begun crawling around the house (albeit with one leg sticking straight out) but he is fast. He laughs and plays like any other child. He doesn't talk at all, but he's so easy-going that lack of communication is not a problem as of yet. I am looking for a non-smoking Christian environment with very few other kids (not more than two besides him.) The reason being that he is at risk for RSV because he was born with heart and lung problems. He has had surgery to correct the problems, but the risk is still there until after his second birthday, so I just want to keep the germ exposure to a minimum. We do have two other children, so he is used to being around kids and he does a great job at the nursery at church. However, he's not used to being away from home yet. I have been working only when my husband is not, but that is getting very difficult and will be even more so once school starts. I don't have a large budget for childcare, so I'm looking for a reasonable rate. I am asking that you be willing to provide references as I would be leaving my precious baby with you.
