Note that this is the premium version that doesn't use the cheap worm-drive gear hose clamps but instead uses a set of more reliable clamps. Last thing you want is for your worm-drive clamp to fail and then you've got your dishwasher draining into the cabinet under your sink. Easily avoided by getting one of these premium adapter connectors for a few bucks more. Works perfectly, no issues at all. We got a new dishwasher with a different drain hose that doesn't need it. Works great, no issues at all. Price is firm.
This fits most disposals so if you've tried to install a dishwasher and it won't fit the inlet on the disposal, you probably already have an idea in your mind what you need to make it work. If it looks anything like this, this is probably the right part as they don't make different sizes.
It has a 3/4” inner diameter on one end and a 1 inch inner diameter on the other end. With a tapered design, the connector can fit on either a 1/2 inch, 5/8 inch, or a 3/4 inch hose. It stretches as well so between those three steps and the flexibility of it, it fits most drain hoses and disposal inlets.
