condition: new
make / manufacturer: Osprey
model name / number: Porter 46 (2022)
size / dimensions: Slightly less than 22 x 14 x 9
This is the 2022 model, which I think is far better than the current one. Note that it’s NEW — never been used. Being as good or better than the latest model, and new, it’s bargain priced.

For lots of pictures, see REI's page on the latest model, which sells (at this writing) for $200. Inside, it's almost identical.

Note: the bag for sale is NAVY BLUE. The photo color shifts depending on what you’re seeing in on.

I'm posting this for my petite, 5' 2" girlfriend. It doesn't fit her, and she forgot and passed the return window. She found it online last year and bought it without proper testing (after being envious of mine). I’m 5-9 and slender, and it would easily fit anyone my size or larger. I’d guess 5-4 is maybe the small size cutoff for fit, but it depends on your body type. It needs to be tried on with weight added.

CONDITION: NEW.

I have the same bag, and it works great for me. I've carried it all over the world, and have seen the envy in the eyes of fellow travelers trying to manage roller suitcase in cobblestoned Venice, SE Asia, Peru, the Alps and many other places. I've only had it refused as carry-on on smaller planes such as puddle jumpers. It specs out perfectly to major airline carry-on size.

Pros:
• Exceptional build and material quality (this thing's TOUGH).
• Clever design with superb pockets—and lots of them. The straps have their own stash pockets.
• Easy to carry on and fit into overhead bins (WAY easier to get on board than pulling a suitcase).
• No need for a checked bag (I travel the “Rick Steves” efficient way).

Con:
• This is not a dedicated backpack, so not suitable for long-distance hiking. But I've run through the Frankfurt airport with it on my back. And breezed through Italy while others struggle with roller bags.

I can show you mine, and you'll see how well it's stood up over time and lots of international travel. And I'm not easy on gear! Mine barely shows wear.

This is bargain priced. A new bag at $50 less than store price—zero tax (about 13 bucks from the store).
