The REESE 18 In. hitch box extension is designed to extend the distance between the tow vehicle and trailer. It is rated to carry a maximum of 400 Lb. tongue weight and 4,000 gross trailer capacity. When used with the weight distribution hitch, it is rated to carry a maximum of 600 Lb. tongue weight, and 6,500 Lb. of gross trailer capacity. Fits a 2 inc x 2 In. hitch box opening. Ideal for slide-out campers with extended overhangs. Designed to extend the receiver opening 18". 2" square tube opening for use with ball mounts and hitch-mounted accessories
