‘Grape Jelly’ is a hybrid valued for its rich green and purple coloration, heavy texture, and strong rosette form. Dyckias are long-lived terrestrial bromeliads native to South America. They inhabit sunny, high-altitude rocky outcrops, savannahs, and cliff faces so they thrive in harsh, nutrient-poor, and dry environments. They form spiny, cool architectural rosettes and are prized by collectors for their symmetry, toughness, and dramatic foliage.
This is a fully grown specimen:
• Plant size: ~9" tall × 16" wide
• ~14" total height with cascading form
• Mature, well-established plant
• Bloomed the past two winters
• Healthy, well-grown, no issues

Dyckias at this size are rarely available - most plants sold are young and much smaller.
Semi-cold hardy. Can be kept outdoors spring–fall with proper hardening. Does fine indoors under lights.
