This is an excellent solid maple table with two extension leafs. Rectangular with round corners. The maple wood is IMO gorgeous and 1.25 inches thick. 40 inches wide by 60 inches long. So without leafs, it is 5 feet long. With both leafs, it extends to 80 inches. Spring action lock and release mechanism. It is sturdy and secure without wobbles. We have 6 and 3 yo girls but no animals.

I regret having to let it go. But my wife has insisted on a round table. :-( I would absolutely buy this again, especially at $100.
