Production Technician (Fort Collins)

compensation: $18-$21/hour
employment type: full-time

We are looking for an electro-mechanical production technician who will assemble and test our product. A good technician likes to build things, has knowledge of electricity and electric circuits, and can interpret technical print and drawings. If you played with an erector set as a kid, maybe do your work car maintenance, or seriously considered a career in engineering you might be a perfect fit for us.

Primary duties include:

Hand assembles, tests using test instruments, and troubleshoots our electro-mechanical equipment.

Read and interpret technical prints and schematics to build and repair our product.

Use precision measuring instruments to ensure that specifications are met.

Answer basic questions about our products and communicate that with internal and external customers.

Maintain inventory and parts for our product.

Perform maintenance of our equipment needed to assemble our product.

Provide support for our engineers.

Meet our production deadlines for delivery of our product.

Required skills:

1 year in an electromechanical assembly or testing environment.

Ability to use various power and hand tools.

Demonstrate mechanical/technical abilities.

Understanding of mathematics, print reading, and electrical theory.

Proficient in the documentation of the assembly process.

Ability to organize and fill out detailed documentation.

Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP skills.

Knowledge of AutoCAD a plus.
