I have 9 Acoustical Quadradic Residue Diffusers that are Prime 7 based. Each is 2 ft x 2 ft and 7 inches deep and painted in a matt black textured finish. They have been meticulously built by me and all parts were cut with a CNC machine from 3/8 inch MDF. In addition, the QRD's are exactly patterned after a QRD built by a well known company to ensure accuracy. They are in absolute perfect condition with no damage. I built more than I actually needed and these are not being used. The units have been stored in a climate controlled and nonsmoking environment. The most inexpensive units available that I can find are made by GIK Acoustics and start at $300.00 EACH plus tax and shipping. My QRDs perform exactly the same and the QRDs that I built are at least as well constructed as the GIK units. I can assure you that building the any QRD is labor intensive and time consuming. I will never build QRDs again! The advertised diffusion is from 350 Hz to 4000 kHz.
If you have a need for QRD diffusers, these are a really good bargain. BTW, I mounted mine (16 total) to the wall with drywall anchors and rubber washers. In addition, several 6 inch deep absorbers are mounted. I am not a professional acoustician, but I have studied acoustics for many years. I was certifed by Home Acoustic Alliance a few years ago (now expired) and I have attended many CEDIA classes on acoustics for the past 25 years, so I can answer many questions about acoustics.
I will sell all 9 for $450.00. Each QRD weighs approximately 25 lbs.
