Official McNeela non-tunable bodhrán/ Celtic drum and set of "beaters". The bodhrán is 14" in diameter, an excellent size for a beginner. It's made of hand-cured, sustainably harvested goatskin professionally made by McNeela Instruments in Dublin, Ireland. Edge taping supports the rich bass tone. Four beaters of different hardwood species vary in length from 9-9.5". This bodhrán costs $140 new, not including shipping from Ireland. Each beater costs apx. $15 new. This set comes with a gig bag that holds the bodhrán and beaters.
