This is a great practice amp especially for someone younger and just starting to play electric guitar. When I first started, if I'd had access to all of the tones this amp has access to, I probably would've never put my guitar down. I highly suggest downloading the manual and learning how to actually utilize the features. With a master volume as well as a headphone jack, you can get great tones at reasonable volumes without disturbing neighbors or housemates. Additionally it has an auxiliary jack so you can practice along with songs you love if you have a device that still has an aux cable port.

Feel free to bring a guitar to try it out. I have a portable battery to plug it into so I can meet you at the complex clubhouse.
