So here's the deal - I need a band for a show I'm playing at the Cheyenne Civic Center in late March. I'm opening for a band called The Takes and I think it would be best to have a full band. I'd like to find a group of musicians that would want to continue playing live shows a couple of times a month or more if it makes sense - however, I'd also settle with a group that would just want to fill in for this large show.

At a minimum, I would like to add a drummer and bass. Extra bonus would be lead guitar, fiddle, banjo, or someone who could play a combo of these instruments depending on the song.

About Me: I'm a singer/songwriter who plays original music in genre's like: americana, country, alt-country, red dirt.....similar styles to turnpike troubadours, ryan bingham, tyler childers, etc. If interested you can find some of my music on Spotify/Apple Music - just search Jared Strayer.

Plan: After finding interested musicians, we would get together and practice and make sure everyone felt like it was a good fit. I do not have rehearsal space, so hopefully someone else will. We could play a live "practice" gig or two at a venue I have a good relationship with near Loveland, CO. From there, we could even possibly play a paid live show or two before the Civic Center Show.

Future Opportunities: I will likely have a slot at the Friday's On The Plaza concert series in Cheyenne for the Summer of 2026, Friday/Saturday night shows at Tom Davis Saloon, The Outlaw Saloon in Cheyenne, WY, among others.
