Bookkeeper and Office Administrator for Farm (Wellington)

compensation: Dependent on Experience

A northern Colorado farming and ranching operation is looking to hire a full-time bookkeeper and office administrator immediately.

The position's responsibilities include:

All Daily Bookkeeping and Transactions
Employee Payroll and Applicable Taxes
End of Year Adjustments
Bank Reconciliations and Petty Cash
Managing Land Rent Leases
Coordinating Hay Sales
Accounting for Harvest Totals and Payments
Monthly Invoicing of Rental Properties
Keeping Insurance Coverage Up to Date, including Workers Comp, Fleet, and Liability
Maintaining Company's Organic Plan and Status

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications and/or experience:

At Minimum an Associate's Degree in Accounting or 2 Years Relevant Job Experience
Familiarity with Desktop Quickbooks, either through Job Training or Course Work
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
Reliable Transportation for Bank Deposits, Post Office Drop-offs, and Company Errands
A High Degree of Attention to Detail
Capacity to Work Independently but Diligently
A Strong Work Ethic to See Projects and Tasks Through to Conclusion
Completely Trustworthy to Financially Oversee a Large Family Operation
