Brand new LOF quality tinted, shaded top front glass for a 1950-53 Cadillac, that my research causes me to feel it's the same for the big Olds convertible as well as Buick convertibles (and hardtops each year) for 1950-1953. I am recalling these were made in Mexico to LOF standards-same thickness, etc.
I have a 1951 Cadillac hardtop that, frankly, will never get restored-great opportunity for someone- all blasted, primered, repairs made, on and on. But I will try to rehome the windshield and other parts if any interest.
ALSO have a brand new STEELE RUBBER windshield seal. These are now $357. per online catalog (that is where I learned of the-Olds and Buick interchange)
I really don't know how to ship this windshield. I bought one from Bob's Classic Glass (the better source online but now made in Taiwan) for a Pontiac convertible and it came in a massive block of styrofoam-amazing! )/
His Taiwan units are $510. plus $360. to ship-and don't forget sales tax! It's everywhere today.
Prices are always negotiable on Craigslist. If any serious interest, please contact me. I can hold the windshield for you to wait for better travel weather. As I have been stuck at home recovering from foot surgery, I didn't think several months ago to take pictures. I can arrange for this if there is genuine interest. You can find images galore online-again the correct windshield, shaded top, tinted glass- the one folks want.
(With President Trump's vow to impose tariffs on virtually all imports, look for outside vendor costs to only increase. )
