South Bend Split Bamboo Fly Rod #346 9ft 3 piece with an extra tip!
It is a 3 piece rod, and it has 2 tips pieces. It has a screw top rod storage case with a cloth sleeve.
The rod case is 38 inches long with a 2 inch diameter.
I checked various fly fishing forums, and from what I can gleam, this rod is from 1949.

Features "Comficient Grip", "Lite-Lock" reel seat, stainless steel stripping guide, Perfection tip-top, orange and black jasper silk winds. Other guides are tool-hardened steel. Ferrules are satin chrome finished, water proofed, welted and serrated. Recommended line size shown on each rod. These are truly fine rods with lightness, balance and action that will please the discriminating angler. The materials and craftmanship which go into these rods assure satisfaction from every standpoint. Rod are packed in cloth bag and No. 285 fiber rod case.
