SELLING my barely used. No seriously… It has been sitting on a stand, turned off and not being used since I set it up. After it was purchased off of BOOX.com directly by my Hubs late in 2024 (last year). I did make sure there was still a charge on it from time to time this year but was so buy I never found the time to play with it.
For only $360 with a beautiful lightly textured magnetic cover and a BOOX stylus included. ALL in LIKE NEW shape.
It is not just an Epaper note taking device. It is a FULLY FUNCTIONAL ANDROID TABLET and compared to similarly sized Amazon Kindle, Samsung and Apple tablets, it is inexpensive new (MSRP is $499). Even cheaper to buy it used and already tested for functionality. That is what I am offering. An ePaper tablet that can be used for reading books, checking out the news, downloading reading apps and reading through other non-high refresh rate websites. Instruction manuals look great on this.
I am always very thorough in my craigslist ads so you will feel more comfortable working with me. So you can make an informed decision related to what is being sold before coming out. Saves both of us time.
FYI: I do check all cash for counterfeit using IR and pen. We do have security cameras on our property with onsite and offsite storage. We live in Loveland proper in a suburban neighborhood, but I am happy to also meet you in the Police Department lobby to do the sale.

INCLUDES:
-> LIKE NEW (but better because you get it at a cheaper price) BOOX Note Air4 C 10.3” color epaper 64GB storage Android Tablet. Kaleido 3 (4096 colors) Carta 1200 glass screen. Color is 150 ppi and B/W resolution is 300 ppi.
It is a fully functional (albeit with a lower refresh rate compared to other tablets because it is ePaper) Android 13 OS tablet with 6 GB RAM. You can write on it using their notebook app. Can load your Android Apps from the Google Play store. Even the Kindle App can be loaded. It has speakers, wifi and bluetooth. It really is a great product. Just more than I needed.
BOOX is updated regularly by Onyx.
I recommend reviewing ePaper tablets (your kindle paperwhite or colorsoft is an ePaper tablet) if you are unfamiliar with them. This is one of the best. Can go on Boox.com to learn more. This BOOX Note Air4 C is full color ePaper. An up and coming technology combined with the long time OS Android.
There is a learning curve to using ePaper and Android, if you are unfamiliar. You may not wish to buy this if you are not tech savvy or are an impatient person. But once you learn it, this BOOX Note Air4 C tablet can be very useful for you and offers multiple functionality. You just won’t be watching movies on it because of the slower refresh rate.
-> Magnetic cover with Misty Forest scene (also shown in photos) - Not slippery. The textured surface makes the cover shimmer. It is neither masculine nor feminine. Has a slight purple-ish hue.
&
-> BOOX Pen Plus White Stylus (4096 pressure levels) that magnetically attaches to the side of the Boox tablet. Also in photos.

WHY SELL:
SHORT ANSWER: Thought I would use it more and just didn’t.
LONG ANSWER: Including more about how the tablet functions and some of the great features.
This tablet is exceptional. It is a great size for note taking, editing pdfs and drawing. Not to mention it can be used as an eReader too.
It was cheaper than most eReader tablets of this size and had a backlight. Unlike the really expensive “Remarkable” tablet. Making the screen easier to see in assorted lighting conditions. HUBS had a remarkable and took it back because you couldn’t see it under normal lighting conditions. This is NOT a problem with the BOOX Note Air4 C.
You can adjust the BOOX screen light color setting from cold to warm. Very much like the way a Kindle paperwhite works. The BOOX always starts up with a blue tinge then once screen is on, it goes back to whatever setting you had.
You can also set it up so you can manually refresh when there are artifacts left on screen from a prior page. There is a little mini menu you can click on and customize with the manual refresh to give you quick options with either your finger or the stylus. I liked having that option as ePaper devices can sometimes be a pain due to the refresh rate leaving artifacts from prior pages.
Wanted to try a color ePaper device for note taking. They are just easier to use for that purpose. The screen doesn’t glare and they are easier to see when outside working on a DIY project. They are almost like writing on paper.
Was in the middle of a construction project putting Board and Batten up on my house and had all the measurements in my Black and White Kindle Scribe so never really took the time to use the BOOX for the intended purpose. The note taking app in the Kindle is very primitive. But the note taking app on the BOOX is color and allows you to do so much more. You can make boxes and straight lines easily on the BOOX. You can use colors to help you code your designs better. That was my original purpose for purchasing.
Which was also just an excuse to get more tech. 🤣
Am a bit of a tech nerd. Have been since Pong came out. Even built my own computer. Got multiple computer certifications just for fun.
Couldn’t resist buying this ePaper BOOX device and I still think it is super cool. Wanted to learn more about the technology. But I do not use it like it should be used.
I hate seeing great new technologies not being used and sitting on a shelf wasting away.
So you can buy a barely used, really cool ePaper tablet with an Octo Core CPU, 64 GB (system uses 24 GB), 6 GB Ram from a respected ePaper manufacturer but for much cheaper than new. I have never seen this device go on sale on Amazon. It has also been offered at Best Buy, and they never put it on sale there either when I was looking. But ONYX put it on with a magnetic cover AND a stylus for the same price as without those things.

MORE ON THE BOOX Note Air4 C
I did test the BOOX with bluetooth headphones. Tested the speakers. Wrote on it with the stylus. Loaded apps. Looked at my Kindle library on the Kindle app and opened a book. Listened to an audiobook from Audible. All those kinds of things to make sure it functioned properly after purchasing. Everything I tested worked perfectly. Then it sat in my tablet stand for months as I finished DIY construction projects in and on the house.
It is being sold AS IS. Anything can happen once it leaves here. But we can turn it on. It has been reset. That is why the screen has only that main image on it. The pages can be looked at with the tablet vertical and horizontal. The page will turn depending on which angle you are holding the tablet.
I can set it up again so you can see what it looks like with apps on the screen and the basic functionality. But then it would have to be reset again once you paid for it. So you could put it on your own google account. I also recommend going on boox.com and searching for the Note Air4 C on their website to learn more.
Will see if I can find the original box too. Usually keep tech boxes around for a while. But have a ton of work and am constantly on the go so let me know if you are interested in having the box and I will make a concerted effort to find it.

Our phone number can be used to leave a message only. It goes directly to voicemail and is NOT a cell phone. So it cannot accept texts. I get an email notification when someone leaves a message, and it is not infallible. It is VOIP, which is basically the same as a landline, but over the internet. If the internet goes down, so does the phone.
