No longer have the time to blacksmith, so selling the extremely functional propane forge I made out of an old stainless steel air compressor tank. The burner jet hooks up to a standard high-pressure propane regulator and regular propane tank. Jet design by Tim Deagan from his awesome book ‘Make: Fire, the art and science of working with propane’. The interior forge is insulated with high-temp (3000C) fiber blanket and that is coated with satanite high-temp refractory cement. Both front and back panels swing out of the way or can be taken off when needed. Bottom is lined with high-temp fire bricks. This thing gets really hot really fast and stays hot. Love yellow to white hot steel? :) Comes with stand and cover.
