Researchers at Colorado University, Boulder Psychology Department are looking for participants to participate in a study to understand their own emotions and the emotions of others (IRB#17-0358). You will be compensated for your participation. If you qualify for the study, we will ask you to come into our lab for up to 3 study visits.

Study includes some or all of the following parts:
Option #1 - Behavioral Lab Visit: Interview about thoughts & feelings, physiological monitoring (heart rate), computer tasks, questionnaires (4-5 hrs; $15/hour)
Option #2 - fMRI Visit: View videos and pictures, and think about emotions while in a brain imaging scanner, computer tasks, questionnaires (3 hrs; $25/hour)
Option #3 – Pressure Pain Task Visit: One computer task involving tolerable pressure pain, physiological monitoring (heart rate), computer tasks, questionnaires, (1-2 hrs; $15/hour)
Additional opportunities to participate in paid research may be available.
To qualify, you must be between the ages of 18 and 55 years old and have a history of depression.
